Research - Yarmouth - Ferris Wheel
These images are from the seaside attraction 'Joyland' which is the same name of my book my Ferris-wheel is based off. These are images of the small child size Ferris-wheel in 'Joyland'. I am using this as reference and research to show I have been out to see one for myself.

Textures
I created these textures from various images and edited them to create realistic textures for my models. Each texture with text on it has been through various types and finally I have made decisions to which the texture would look best. The typography I researched into and found ones which I thought would look best and with various colour schemes added as well these types of text worked best. The 'Joyland' logo I created in Adobe Photoshop. The page above will give more detail into the design.
UV Mapping
These are my UV maps which I lay out so it is ready tome imported into Adobe Photoshop and textured over which will then be applied to the model.

Final Modelling
With the final modelling partly done I duplicated the cart and placed them to correct positions to represent the Ferris-wheel in its full glory. The first picture shows my final base structure wit railings. The last picture shows at default stage a skip and some bins. I will model them to detail and see how they look with the main piece.
