Modelling

So with the go ahead to create the wooden roller coaster I asked for some tips and tricks on how I should create this massive build. I talked to a former student at NUA called Nathan Russell who suggested I create my model in sections like a scalextric track which would all fit together. These are some of my early builds for the tracks and carts.

Ba7 + Ba8 Introduction

Final Year at NUA (Norwich University of the Arts)! It is the most important year which means I will have to work my hardest!

At the beginning of the year we had to present a two slide presentation - below

I was presented with feedback and since then the title for my research report has changed and is now about - Nostalgia in Video Games.

Textures

I created these textures from various images and edited them to create realistic textures for my models. Each texture with text on it has been through various types and finally I have made decisions to which the texture would look best. The typography I researched into and found ones which I thought would look best and with various colour schemes added as well these types of text worked best. The 'Joyland' logo I created in Adobe Photoshop. The page above will give more detail into the design.
